Send us a story or a correction

We rely on readers to tell us what is happening in their communities and to point out when we get something wrong. Use the form to send us a story, ask for a correction or update, or suggest something we should cover. It opens your own email app with your message laid out for us, and nothing is sent until you press send there. You can also write to [email protected].

What would you like to do?

What we can use

  • News about land-based gaming in Canada: casinos, racinos, racetracks, gaming centres, card rooms, bingo halls and charitable gaming, and the laws, regulators and communities around them.
  • Public records help us most: regulator decisions, court filings, council agendas and minutes, and official announcements.
  • If you have a document, tell us where it is published or offer to send it. Please don't send anything you aren't allowed to share.

What we don't accept

  • Paid or sponsored stories, link placements or guest posts.
  • Gambling advertising, affiliate links, promotions or offers from gambling operators.
  • Odds, tips, betting advice or anything about online gambling, which we don't cover.

Corrections and updates

We correct factual errors as quickly as we can and add a note to the story saying what changed. Tell us which story it is, what is wrong and, if you can, where the correct information is published. Read more in our editorial policy.

Confidential tips

If you need us to protect your identity, say so at the top of your email. We won't name you or share your details without your permission unless the law requires it.

We read every message, though we can't promise to reply to all of them or to publish every story we are sent.
